Love?
June 15, 2025Something about love just popped into my mind.
What does love mean to you? Is it someone who makes you feel butterflies inside your stomach, someone you can't go a day without, or what else?
After going through relationship(s), for me, right now, love is when you can see your future with, someone who can root for you no matter what situation is, someone who chooses you out of so many options they have. And someone.. who never leaves you, not for the sake of money, fame, parent’s choice, or even for those hot chicks out there or whatsoever.
And someone with whom you can be vulnerable, you can trust 100% telling your darkest secret to, the one you're feeling most safest with, the one who'll never judge you, stands behind you and is your number 1 best friend in life.
Lastly, someone who cares about your feelings as if someone or something hurts you, s/he will get hurt too.
What is love to you?

To me, love is a choice rooted in commitment. It’s not just feelings, but faithfulness—someone who stays, supports, forgives, and points you closer to God. As 1 Corinthians 13 says, “Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
True love reflects Christ’s love: unconditional, sacrificial, and unshakable.
